3/4 drive wright impact sockets having defects

Recently I got a 3/4 ingersoll Rand air impact wrench and I’ve been purchasing 3/4 12 point impact sockets and I purchased a 13/16 and a 15/16 at first. 13/16 came with a defect where the 12 point end is off center. Got it warrantied from wright themselves and now I just purchased a 3/4 12 point and this came with the same exact defect. So if anyone is looking to purchase wright 3/4” drive impact sockets look out for defects

slightly off topic, but curious why you're wanting 12 points instead of 6 for an impact?
I’m a heavy duty diesel mechanic and I work on DD15/DD13 engines in Freightliner cascadias and the head bolts are 12 point 3/4 headed bolts and the flywheel bolts are 12 point 3/4 headed bolts. Sometimes my 1/2” Milwaukee can’t get the head bolts or flywheel bolts off

I'm sure I'm in the minority on this issue on this forum, but I've never found Wright quality to be exceptional. Their tools are stout and intended for industrial service, but the fit and finish were only slightly better than Craftsman in my limited experience. All my Wright tools are older examples, so maybe the new stuff is better.

I can see that the first one is slightly off center, however I can't imagine that affects the use of the tool. That socket is incredibly overbuilt.

A 3/4 inch impact isn't going to spin fast enough for you to notice that much off center. Me, I'd just use it and if it affected me in-use, then I'd be disappointed.

At least the platting isn’t peeling. Odd they haven’t updated their manufacturing to eliminate off center broaching. They at least are catching up on their back orders.
