    Oh what I could drill with this!!!

    We have a five station gang drill at our shop. We do lots of sheetmetal (laser) work and it is invaluable. Cut the hole on the laser, drill to size in first station, deburr on second station, and tap on third, all without having to change a bit. Just slide the part 6" to the right or left.

    Grinding/sanding tubing ends flat

    This is definitely the realm of a large disc or belt sander. I do have a couple of questions though, (I assume this is a home shop) would you need to be able to set the angle or would it be done by hand? What is the material? And most importantly what is the budget? We use a LOT of Burr King...

    Aluminum.... welded to Steel..... no..... not really

    This, we have Fronius equipment at work and can indeed say it is possible. Not ideal by any means but it is absolutely achievable. The end joint becomes more of a braze as the base steel is not melted while the aluminum is. It's a cool process to use.
