    Only if your heater is to close. Read the owner manual. I store a couple collector cars in mine. Not an issue, but I made sure mine was installed correctly so that everything away the proper distance away.

    Depends on the size of your shop. Mine is 1000 sq ft and my radiant specialist told me it was not needed for the size. The smaller the size the more important it is.

    Very true. I think my heater says to keep it at least 42" from an combustable material. You have to have the deflector shield between the heater tube and the ceiling.

    Get a "narrow" lift like the PP said (7') Most company make them. That is what I'm going to get someday.

    Mine is an Omega II. I know mine was under $1100 for the complete kit (30 feet) without the propane tank. Took a buddy and I one evening to install it. Pretty simple to install. I bought mine from Bishop Radiant Heating in Omaha, NE.

    New to this forum. Looks interesting. I have 24 x 40 shop with 9' ceilings. I have 75,000 BTU 30' radiant tube propane heater & I love it. I keep it about 60 degrees in the winter. Here is a couple pictures.
