I asked this before but now I am attaching a picture. I have a 16' wide door and want to put 4 post lift to stack the two cars in the picture. None of them weigh over 2000 lbs (1800 and 1300lbs) so I would like the smallest 4 post available that will fit to the right and still allow me to park a full size car on the left. The garage is only 20' deep but luckily has a 15' ceiling. There is another 2' to the right of the door openning.
What would be the smallest 4 post available for this purpose?

BendPak HD-7P... or, for almost the same price, you can put in an HD-9XW, which would let you put BOTH cars in the rafters, and leave you room to park that little red driver underneath.

Get a "narrow" lift like the PP said (7') Most company make them. That is what I'm going to get someday.

I have the BendPak HD-9, and it's the wide lift.
My garage is 22' wide (outside dimension) so it's probably almost 21' wide inside.
I have a crazy offset to maneuver (see picture and follow the concrete line from the rear of the house), not to mention it's only 16' from the house.

It's possible to get a full-sized car in the right-hand bay, so I think you'll be fine with any sized lift.

You planning on having the tracks for door changed to allow it to clear?

no input on the lift, sorry. but i am really interested to know what cars those are. 1300 lbs seems light! i think my camaro weighs in stock around 3400 pounds.

Looks like an MG twin-cam and a Porsche 550 Spyder... I am intrigued. If you don't mind my asking, is the Spyder genuine or a replica? I'd love to have a "little *******" like that. :)

Those are Connecticut antique plates, right?

I've got the BendPak HD-9ST, which is a bit narrower than the standard HD-9. The car on the left is a 1960 or '61 MGA, but it's not a Twin Cam. The TC's didn't come with wire wheels; they had some fairly rare Dunlop wheels.

Here's a pic of my '62 MGA, '66 Nova and '02 S2000 in my garage.

Right; I didn't look that closely. I should know, if for no other reason than the picture of 3yo me hanging my elbow out of my dad's FHC, wheels prominently featured.

I'll take "Shadowy photos of cars in garage shots" for $600, Alex.

Looks like an MG MGA on the left.... which is almost a full 2,000lbs.. with fuel it should be over 2,000.

The other one looks like a Porsche Spyder 550 or something, which is also around ~2,000lbs.

The car on the left is a 1960 MGA and the Porsche 550 Spyder is a replica body made by Thunder Ranch. It does weigh around 1350 lbs (not with me in it.) It's only 150 hp but thats equivalent to 350 hp in a 3000 lb car. Thanks for all the respnse. It was very helpful.
