    I am in the process of building of building a pit cart tool box to accommodate our race car adventure. and on one side cabinet I want to have 3-4 pull out pegboards. But i can't seem to find correct slides for the application (slides would need to be on the top and bottom of the pegboard)...

    you are over thinking it.. a good gasket is thick enough to seal this up, maybe a thin layer of high heat rtv.. to fret over it too much

    So much good info Thank you all so much for the help. The rivets are just going to be brass or copper and the steel is going to brushed, going for that two tone look. I'm going to do some tests with just a hammer and bucking block and see how it all turns out. I will post pictures once I try it!
