Cut mine with with kobalt miter saw i got out of the garbage. Had a Diablo finishing blade in it. Worked great. All the detail cutting around things I used my oscillator.

I slapped together a 12x16 last year. It's pole style though. I love it. I'm not sure how elaborate you're trying to get. I can post pictures if you'd like.

I've had it down since December and the edges are starting to show wear. I will do a write up on my remodel shortly and review the snaplock products.
