    The subdivision compromise (tight squeeze)

Thanks, that is quite a stable you've got there! Sorry, I haven't looked at this thread in a while. I'm doing a small scale pro-touring type build. Vb&p performance plus suspension with ridetech shocks, WC T5 5 speed out of a 3rd gen F-body, CIC flares fenders, 18x10 front wheels 18x12...

They are ******** boards. That is just where I decided to hang them.

    Norsk PVC flooring review

Just wanted to give a quick update after 2 months. Between finishing moving in, installing the lift, and parking the truck after wet and muddy days the floor was getting scuffed and dirty. Water stains, hydraulic fluid, marks from dragging a heavy jack, and dirt came off easily with a quick...

    The subdivision compromise (tight squeeze)

Yeah, the installer levelled everything out for me. The issue I ran into was that one of the latches did not catch/binding in that mechanism. I just had to raise the lift back up and lower it back down again. Not a deal breaker for me, but definitely something I will be paying close attention...

    4 Post Lift Shopping

Nice score! I am shopping for a bridge jack for the Triumph lift and I'm not far from you (Raleigh area). Could you shoot me a pm when you are ready to sell one of them?

    The subdivision compromise (tight squeeze)

Quick update. Finally got the car to the new garage and on the lift. Unfortunately, I was not able to roll the lift back tight against the wall once the car was on it. This is mainly due to the casters cratering into the pvc flooring under the weight of the car. I may try to place some...

    4 Post Lift Shopping

They pretty much matched amazon pricing, and shipped it to my installer for that price. I paid $800 for the installer to receive, deliver on my schedule, and assemble the lift. It seemed a little high, but was totally worth it not to have to coordinate with driver/freight, rent a trailer...

    4 Post Lift Shopping

I bought the Triumph NSS-8SQ (the shorter version), due to it being one of the few options to clear my garage door. I can't give you much of a review because I don't have a car on it yet. But I paid for install and he said it was the same as any of the other similarly priced lifts. The lift...

    The subdivision compromise (tight squeeze)

Thats a good point. Just not something I'm considering doing on a brand new house currently. There is some benefit to having the wall there though, in that my wife doesn't have to trip over car parts and her car won't be coated in fiberglass dust. I do have the lift now (just uploaded the rest...

    The subdivision compromise (tight squeeze)

Well, when we were "sold" on the build , that wall was not in the blueprint, which is why I had originally planned for a 2 post. We were told later by the builder that it was required, so I had to make the best of it.

    The subdivision compromise (tight squeeze)

As it sits currently with lift installed. 1500 fits in there snuggly with the mirrors folded in. This lift did include the caster kit, and I chose not to bolt it into the floor so that I can roll it tight against the wall when not in use. Ideally, I hope to be able to roll it with the...

    The subdivision compromise (tight squeeze)

Quick backstory: Our past home was a small house on a 3 acre mini farm, and I was able to build a modest 28x36 metal shop with plenty of space for me to hang out and work on my cars. Shortly after/during building this shop, we decided our house was too small for our growing family and we were...

Wide car on 4 post lift limitations

Thanks again for the recommendations and additional measurements You are correct. I was being pretty vague, and of course there are lifts out there that will fit. I am more questioning if my car will fit on the typical standard sized 4 post lift, without giving up my extra parking space...

Wide car on 4 post lift limitations

Thanks for the responses everyone, I may not be able to use those lifts, but I can at least reference the dimensions. I'm trying to find a lift that fits the garage vs making my garage fit the lift and this is starting to get into unobtainium territory. Does anyone have any experience with the...
