I know this response does not address your question, but will the garage area be at the same 'level' as the living space? The reason I ask is because any heavier-than-air fumes from the garage area have the potential of seeping into the living area. Sam

For those to be effective you need to know the mass of the vibration source and the frequency of the vibration you are trying to ABSORB. By minimizing the transfer path I was attenuating all frequencies transmitted to the structure. Worked GREAT! (I do this stuff for a living) Sam

This just might be my bad luck or maybe crappy/dirty AC power, but I've went through two ignition boards (~$70/ea.) in 6-years on my 45,000 BTU NG Mr. Heater Big Maxx. FWIW, when I've done parts searches I've only seen this one ignition board, so it is likely all the models use the same board...

I guess that's not a bad idea. You could use it once, then return it. That's a pretty small stick welder and you would be better served to have a larger MIG or TIG unit on hand. Sam
