I had the long 1/4” in my hand ready to buy but I honestly couldn’t think of a single instance where I’d use it. The long 3/8” might be a future purchase though.
Just an update incase someone finds this thread in the future: Waterloo does in fact have and still sell the slides for these Sears era Craftsman boxes. Thanks for the suggestion to contact them directly.
Grabbed the 4 piece set today at Home Depot. To be honest I don’t use regular screwdrivers much anymore but made in USA sold in Home Depot I had to show some support. They feel just fine imo.

That’s the newly released high speed extended Fuel ratchet so yeah it’s really expensive. I got one on this deal a few weeks ago and love it but $250 for the bare tool is a lot.
I absolutely love my Icon light. I use it everyday and when I left my first one on a job site I bought a second one. I recommend it to all my coworkers.
I recently bought one of these from Amazon and when it arrived noticed there’s no USA markings. Not a big deal but now I’m just curious, are there now non-USA made SK?
I have an older pre-Lowe’s Craftsman box that has a new home in a service van. I would like to add more slides for reinforcement but I’m having trouble finding just the slides. Part numbers are (1008039-U-L and 1008040-U-R) and it seems these are discontinued. I don’t need exact matches, just...
