    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

These prices are higher than in my area, interesting. The 56 is still $899 in SC and GA

    Tools you've found

Found a Streamlight Stinger rechargeable light wedged on top of the rear gas tank of a 2008 E-350 mobility bus. Interestingly enough, the date on the flashlight was a month before the manufacture of the bus and it looked like it had been there a very long time. RD

    Best cordless impact

For general tight space use, it doesn't get any better than this: Bosch PS41 impact Obviously not lug but material, but this tool saves me several hours a week working at the shop. Great battery life and customer support too. RD

    Let's see your toolbox.

Not quite sure, maybe about a year and a half? My boss has had the same set for over 2 years, no problems yet! RD

    Let's see your toolbox.

Nope, we haven't had a break-in as far as I know. I would trust all my fellow employees with my life. I also live in a pretty nice town. At work, I never even take the keys out of my car, I just leave them in the ignition. I catch myself doing that in bigger cities sometimes though. EDIT-...

    Let's see your toolbox.

I rarely use combo wrenches. I mainly use sockets or my SK XXL G-Pro flex ratcheting wrenches. They rock for anything, especially brakework and belts. RD

    Let's see your toolbox.

Okay, I have already posted pics of my toolbox, so I won't repeat those, but here are pics of my new KRB3CT! With the cart loaded like this, I can roll it to another bay and do 90% of jobs without having to run to my box for anything. (I know my tools are dirty, I don't always have...

    Snap on truck blues :(

Hmm, strange, I actually have a balance on my Snapon revolving account! He owes me money! Actually, it's only until my new tools I ordered come in, (KRBC3T, hang-on screwdriver rack, and SGDTRXL70BR long Torx screwdriver set) My dealers truck isn't crazy full, he had to order a FLFH80 for a...

Okay... it's between these two burp guns:

I know you already decided, but for future readers, the 2135TiMax (at least to me) is a much better designed and much more ergonomic gun than the Snapon. Get the quiet if you want, but the regular's not too loud. (Again, for me anyways) RD

    Made in the U.S.A. (socks)

I haven't tried the Snap-on socks yet, but I love Carhartt socks! They feel great, keep my feet feeling great, they breathe, and I have yet to wear a pair out (a big problem of mine, I wear out the double layered socks like nothing). RD

Blue-Point AT205A Air Ratchet- worth fixing?

I have an older air ratchet someone gave me just laying in the bottom of my box. It's a BluePoint AT205A, and I cannot find info on it anywhere, besides the fact that it and the AT2000 share the same patent number. Anywho, the ratchet has very little power, it turns and spins, but I can easily...

Channellock 927 Snap Ring Pliers- Great or Gimmick?

Yep, good to hear, I got mine for around $17 I believe it was at Lowe's. RD

Channellock 927 Snap Ring Pliers- Great or Gimmick?

I bought a pair of these at Lowes a while back, but haven't had the chance to use them yet. My main use for them is for the snap rings on the back of A/C compressors, as I do a lot of A/C work. It seems like a one tool fits all solution and comes with different tips (90 deg., etc) and...

    It's Good to be back...

on the Snapon truck! I quit buying tools (Snap-on, anyways) during this last school year, and yesterday I stepped on the truck with graduation money! I didn't go crazy but I bought the F80 (kinda wanted the FH80 to match my FLHF80 but, more $$ and he would have had to order it.) and SGDXXL20BR...
