    Came Across This Yesterday

Nope, not even close. It’s a cardboard tube for keeping things for measuring in.

    Came Across This Yesterday

That is a fancy quill style fishing bobber, gauged to tell how interested the fish is in getting caught. Computer is missing though, hurts value.

Welcome to the site. I can’t answer your specific question, but your vice is restored nicely. I have and use its little brother a three inch.

    Let's see your axes

I currently have a Fiskars X15 for day to day use, but I have several vintage axes I received from my father as either a gift or inheritance. The first a Plumb USA hatchet I was given in the early 1970s when I joined Boy Scouts. Next is a True Temper, by Americanax of Glassport, PA which was...

    Vintage S-K Tools

Maybe I made it sound as if I was buying a whole new ratchet, but the kit to convert the one I have to fine 80 tooth from SK was just twenty bucks shipped and I still have the handle I got from my dad. Already done.

    Vintage S-K Tools

Thanks Steve. It appears to have been little used, but it shows some age just from living in his toolboxes and jostling around. I plan to update the ratchet soon with the new SK fine tooth drop in head mechanism and start using it more. I also have a newer set of S-K combination wrenches (early...

    Vintage S-K Tools

I usually see metal boxed socket sets displayed in this thread, I have a 3/8 set I inherited from my dad which I believe is vintage, but it has a plastic type of box. What era did they offer these type boxe in? Also I noticed that some sockets say S-K Tools and some only say S-K

Some more SK drop in teasers..

That is what I was hoping. Thanks for the greeting and response. I will verify and let everyone know once received. UPDATE: received item and after installing all seems in order so they must have purged the early non conforming stuff. Happy!

Some more SK drop in teasers..

Just placed an order for the 3/8 drop in from Epstein’s and am now wondering if I will receive an early version needing replacing, or have they purged them from stock and hopefully are sending out the corrected ones? I guess I could use the screwdriver if it goes that way. First post by the way...
