Dilemma: Need engineered plans just to get price quotes

Stop Wasting Time! You said yourself, you can't frame a straight wall, so how do you think you can erect a 16' tall wall and keep it straight and plumb. If you do get the walls up and braced proper, the hard part is next. Getting the trusses up and braced without them falling over and loosing...

    Stud and truss spacing

2x6 Studs 24" on center is ok. Trusses 4' on center will work if they are engineered per your needs. Make sure the trusses are rated for your location and roof and ceiling materials used. You need the specs from the truss manufacturer, they will show spacing required. Don't let someone guess...

WTH,,, pad is in but looks like it goes uphill ??

Where is this unlevel piece of dirt located? I bet you can find someone to trade their flat ground for your rolling land. Some would give their right arm for your land. When the building is up talk to a landscaper about your concerns. Don't worry, Your OCD is getting the best of you.

Getting a PVC joint apart to reglue?

Heat the pipe joint with a small propane torch, it will soften and come apart. Go slow with the heat not so much that you melt the pvc. When you get the connector off use a new one. John

What color should I paint the outside of my pole barn?

A red barn with a white roof is very popular, so go the opposite. White would be my choice with the red roof, maybe red wainscoat. but you pick what ever color you think is best, you have to live with it. You could ask your wife, girlfriend or both if the case may be. Most women can match...

How strict is lowes on their return policy?

Are you sure the charger is bad? Some of the new chargers won't put out power to a completely dead battery. It takes some voltage from the battery to turn the charger on and it will not come on if you hook it up backwards either. John

    Small engine/carburetor experts...

I work on Scooters (Mopeds) most every day and they have a carburetor very similar to yours. That is the idle jet or some call it the pilot jet. It has a very small hole in it. I use a #80 drill bit to clean the jet. This is smaller than a 1/64" drill bit. I just did a carb tonight and the same...
