    Craftsman (Atlas) 101.21400 metal lathe

Good to know. I'm heading North for three months, I'll get back to the lathe after Labor Day. It was assembled onto a heavy board which I still have. I unbolted it to move it into storage.

Thanks, I might consider that, but my recent experiences with shipping heavy objects has been "pay more in shipping than the cost of the object". I'll cross that bridge later on, if I decide to sell it.

Thanks for your input. If I do sell, it would have to be a local pickup, Tampa Fl. "Looks pretty minty", as I said before, he died before he could use it! Here is a sideways picture of the end plate that was requested. Can't seem to rotate the image properly. It is in storage, but when I...

    Craftsman (Atlas) 101.21400 metal lathe

How much do you think this cost new back in the late 60's. $300-400??? This one had the independent three jaw chuck still wrapped in oil paper in the original box when I got it, unfortunatly the chuck was for the next larger size Craftsman lathe, so it would not fit this one. I'm sure my Uncle...
