Old thread, simple answer, buy another brand. I am really down on LG right now. I'll never buy another one if I don't have to make something compatible with something I already own. It should be easy to find something with better quality control, better documentation and better design.

I think the outdoor condenser unit has a hole in it somewhere. I charged it a month or so ago before I put up sheet rock and tested it. I left it with like 250 psi on it at rest. Upon return today it has about 80 psi in it. Almost has to be high in the condenser since I can't see any oil...
