I have a '22 model of LG LMU240HV condenser running three indoor evaporator units. I am looking for in-line isolation / service valves that are female flare by male flare of the proper size to add to each of the three evaporator line sets at the condenser manifold. Does anyone know of such a thing? I have not been able to find any of them.
Never again for LG but here it is. I bought the units in '22 for an addition I am still working on and am now getting around to commissioning. Fount the filter door switch problem, found the leaking freeze plug problem. Just like so much **** today you find you really need to fix it before you can use it (it wasn't that way not so long ago). The single manifold without zone isolation valves makes provides a single point failure to the whole system. One evap leaks and you are out of commission and on a search for the leak not knowing what unit it is in. This is a stupid design that should have never been but needs to be corrected.
If I could find short threaded isolation / service valves I could put one on each of the liquid and gas lines and solve a lot of problems.
Any helpful thoughts or information?
