Got the LS55 back together, like new lower steering shaft - fired it up & runs great. Now just to figure out how on earth to put the deck back on...

Finally figured out how to get the lower steering shaft out of a “gifted” Ford LS55...now to weld & grind the gear back up then piece it all back together.

Thanks guys, all out of stock except the one with the grinder. Think that’s why I couldn’t find it. Still in the market for a good rechargeable drill set if you know if any other deals.

Had a issue with this EVERY year and always felt bad because they’d stay in the rafters where I couldn’t reach them and end up dead. I’ve since painted my pull cords black and like magic, no more issues!!

Wasn't on a lathe, but a drill press at work; unluckiest guy I ever met was tightening down the chuck while wearing an old old cutoff t-shirt that hung off of him an excessive amount, shoulder hit the switch & kicked it on. Fortunately for him it simply tore his shirt off completely in a matter...
Ok... So I just cobbled together several of you guys ideas on bringing some of these back to life. Some time ago, my brother had to serve some time & told me to take them & see what I could do with them. Seeing these posts reminded me & I dug them out today.

Been awhile!! Been working 6 days a week so that doesn't leave much free time for much else. Started back to work on the jeep tonight & found remnants of a "friend"...
Once I got over the shakes from that, the boy & I went back to work on it! Here he is running the shop vac in the back just...
Called an actual plumber for mine, explained the situation to him & he told me to call the water dept & have them come and check their pressure regulator. Came & checked it today, it was bad, changed it & my problem is solved. At the least, I've learned a lot about water heaters over this stupid...
