That's why I selected locking casters. Works great!

    Black & Decker Workmate

Just installed the casters, and I think they'll work well. Height from the floor to the top of the WM's work surface is 33.5", which I think will be nice as a rolling tool cart for my surface planer. I suppose if that's too high, then the casters can be screwed into the lower leg positions...

    Black & Decker Workmate

Well, I decided to order the casters from Amazon linked above so that I can try bolting them directly on my WM625's feet. The design of this guy's plywood cart is nice in that it allows you to step up to the Workmate without having the cart get in the way of your feet and legs...

    Black & Decker Workmate

OK, I'll bring an original foot into Home Depot and test out the threads. Also, In addition to Lee Valley, I'm seeing plenty of options on Amazon. And who knows what I might find while I'm at Home Depot....

Hi Wolfcj, Yes, it's blue, and I read the stamping from the rear edge of the footrest. Thanks for the link to the feet!

    Black & Decker Workmate

Hi all, Brand new to the forum, to research the vintage Workmate I just bought for $25: WM625 Type E 02 "Republic of Ireland", which appears to be all original and in good shape for its age. One foot is missing, and the rubber on most of the others is worn through. So if there's a good source...
