    door decision

I have a steel building that I had put up over a year ago and I have not been able to get doors up until now. I have 3 openings-- 12x12--the building is 35x50 with 16' eaves. I have gotten quotes on barrel style doors and also standard residential style roll up doors. Anyone have any...

    55x50 steel building

Just about done with the main portion and I will have to wait a while before I can go any further. I have taxes coming up, a rental house that will be vacant soon and this project ran over budget. It has been so muddy that I havent been able to get close to the building at any angle other than...

    cabinet question

Hmm--I guess I need to just go look at the stuff in person. Its really thin almost like plastic.

    cabinet question

This is a silly question but I honestly cant remember what the stuff is that cabinet makers use on top of wood. It comes in different colors-even wood grain. My desk at work is coated in it and I have some cabinets that I got for free that are covered in it. I think it is applied using heat and...

Snap On "Us General" Tool Boxes

I point and laugh at people who buy the new Benz with an AMG appearance package and think its a real AMG. Not saying that's you--just in general.

Post a picture of your ratchets!!

You guys are NUTS. I worked in a dealership for many years making a good living and didn't have 1/10th of the ratchets most of yall have. As a matter of fact--I work at a Benz dealer now with 6 technicians and I would bet if you combined all of their tools you would have less than some of you...

    55x50 steel building

They are going to need to cut that section of concrete out and replace it. Said it "froze". I dunno--not a concrete guy. I do know that I don't plan to pay for it to be made right. The construction crew is charging me $4,000 to erect the building. So far its going to be right at $40,000 not...

    55x50 steel building

Making headway. Had to rent a Lull to be able to do the top beam--dang it! We only needed a tall fork lift but they didn't have one available so I had to rent this monster--budget is being blown away. Also, the front corner of the concrete broke at the entrance. Not sure what they are going to...

    55x50 steel building

A little more progress  Cold muddy mess. Im a little worried about the concrete. They have mud all over it and grinding it into it with the machinery. I will reserve judgement ( and fussing ) until after they say they are done. If it looks like **** Im going to be ticked.

    55x50 steel building

Things are moving a little slow but should pick up soon. All permits are signed off on--footings have been inspected/approved and the floor should be poured today or tomorrow.
