3" of concrete okay for MaxJax?

Resurrection time... For the uninitiated and future MaxJax owner, how do I check for current garage concrete thickness. Thanks.

    Bathroom remodel question.

Went with Schluter on our recent bath remodel. For the actual shower, used KERDI-BOARD and was a bit paranoid so on top of that, rolled on 2 coats of Ardex 8+9. The rest of the bath, ripped out all the drywall and installed DenseShield.

Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT My first house, my second garage - 2-car in CA

Thank you very much. Live in FL so my search always comes up with the same: ragged out, abused samples, lowered, bagged, etc. I might have to fly somewhere for a clean specimen and drive it back. A+ if I can find a wagon..., but would settle with a clean kept sedan too from a responsible owner.

Interesting read. Really enjoyed it. Thoughts on the IS300 as a Daily Driver. I've always loved that model and think in 10-15 years it will still be timeless.

    Wrench organizer comparison

Thank you for the wrench compliment. Shortly after joining GJ back in '12, one of my first tool purchases was from a "Hot Deals" post. Sears was selling the black industrial wrenches for $1 each, so I filled the shopping cart from 6mm to 21 or 22... Those were the days...

    Wrench organizer comparison

Glad I found this thread. Also looking for ideas. Eyesight is not good as it used to be so I need to see the wrench size, but current setup is using up too much space. I tried some HF but I do not care for the carrying handle style. Current:

    "Toy" Jack saved the day

While installing a hall-bath vanity, we noticed the floor or legs were not level. It kept rocking back and forth. I need to lift the vanity just a bit just so I could adjust the leveling tabs under the legs. Never occurred to me to use this miniature aluminum racing jack by US General, but I was...

Timer Switch for bathroom fan choice

Great idea. One of the switches below is the bath fan. Can I use one of the examples you've listed into my current set up. I checked my box and it has enough room behind both switches. Thanks.

    pex a, b or c?

Pex seen through the eyes of a noob. Started on my 1st bathroom renovation and decided to test my Pex skills. Aside from unclogging the *******, I’ve never done any plumbing and the only fixture I’ve ever fixed was a sharkbite toilet supply valve. I decided on Pex-A Uponor. I got totally...

Graham, Thank you for the Durham idea. I wonder if the lid can be removed. In essence, when the drawer is opened, the contents are readily accessible without having to open a lid.
