I guess this would be the place to ask. Ernst plier racks, will they work with vise grips(handle side in rack)? Mainly for the 11sp/10r ones. No place within a 90 min drive to actually see them and I’m guessing someone has tried here. Thanks.

I can’t knock you for buying the correct tool for the job, but needle nose vise grips have always worked well for me.

Finally got chance to work on my ****. Pulled the cowl again and hung it, and started cutting tubing for the rest of the subrails.

Not new, but new to me: Got all 3 for about the list price of the little Chode. Don’t mind the mess still need to clean/ polish and then reorganize my body stuff drawers yet again.

Pretty much used only 3m or Norton for 25 years for my da, longboard, grinding discs, but for the cost of shipping I’m definitely checking these out. If they **** not much lost, if they’re comparable, it’ll definitely save me some $ on materials. Thanks for the heads up.

Learned that trick when I was an apprentice. Needed to do some rough pulls with the monkey on a stick and my mentor showed me a set with a ring welded on the adjustment screw. Made some that day.

Cheap c visegrips, cut the pads off, notch the arms to the angle, and weld some angle in whatever size you need.

Any news on this? Having the same issue although I’m pretty sure mine is my pressure switch bleeding down. Fortunately I have another waiting just need to grab some new line since the wiring and airline are on opposite sides of the original(thanks Ingersol Rand).
