How would this work to drive ground rods? I was going to pick up the Hercules SDS-MAX this PLS
Not sure what’s involved with ground rods but the Bauer should perform as well as the Hercules. A few big SDS bits will cost as much as this deal.

This is a lightweight one, 7.3A at 7# vs their 10A at 12#. The Hercules SDS-MAX is 12A, 15# and has an enormous bit capacity, with a hefty price tag at $229. If you are in that price range, might want to consider a used brand name like Bosch.

You should read the reviews for the Hercules SDS-MAX. 95% of folks who chose to post a review say its a 5 star tool. 17 say not so much. I have this tool but I haven't used it yet. The sale price is about what it goes on sale for over the last 2 years with the range between $169.99 - $179.99 except for the crazy 8th Deal of the Day 9/30/2024 when it went on sale for $129.99. And thats why I own one but have never used it lol. I have plans for it and when that day arrives I'm ready!

I believe it to be a very capable tool. Honestly all the Hercules tools I bought have been great.

For the "pics or it didn't happen" people

The Hercules SDS-MAX appears frequently on the discounted returns table, especially for parking lot sales. Good time to buy.

I’m looking to purchase one of these for my food truck:

PREDATOR 11,500 Watt Tri-Fuel SUPER QUIET Inverter Generator with Remote Start,

I was wondering what the best price I can expect to find these at. I won’t need it till next spring as that is the projected timeframe for the food truck to be completed. Thanks

I would avoid this Hercules SDS-MAX for ground rods…… This is what you want for driving ground rods.
That would likely work much better. I’m not sure I want to spend that much on one though. I’m not putting in stakes all that often. I’ve been redoing landscape around my property and building small gravel pads so rebar stakes work well, but get old pounding in by hand.

Break your hand or miss the rod with the hammer and this demo hammer will be a "bargain"…….. Don’t ask me how I know! :lol_hitti

I’m sure someone here has tried or knows, will they take the 40% code for C clamp vise grips or deny it as pliers?

Clicked the category on the e-flyer, the welding and chain clamp pliers were included in the results but the C clamps weren't in the list.
You might be able to get a cool manager to override it if you ask. It carries the soul of a clamp.

Thanks. I guess I’ll give it a try ‘ they’re literally called c clamps’ may work. Guess I should’ve tried clicking the flyer(didn’t know it’s bring something else up) before asking, but live and learn. Thanks again.
