Anyone have any experience with these? I was looking at a reznor 105,000 btu or moodine hot dawg and while searching I came across a modine 100,000 btu two stage heater. I can’t really find any info on it not even on their website. Reznor is what I’m probably going to get unless this two stage...
I already have to live with my OSB decision lol. Just trying to get the best results possible. I was going to do drywall as a Menards about an hour and a half from me had 14 ft sheets for $14.39 a sheet. But for what I needed it would have been two trips and delivery was a lot and then the...
I posted a week ago about attaching osb to walls and I’m ready to start. I have read a bunch on which side to face out and a lot of people say smooth side out. It’s easier to paint ect. But I think the rough side looks better. It seems like the chips aren’t as visible and has a flatter look. I...
I bought some Grk 1 -1/2 instead of drywall screws. I’ll see how the first few go and if it’s fast enough I’ll probably screw then but if not I’ll break out the nailer.
I was going to do it vertically then changed my mind. I thought it would be quicker horizontally. Does one way or the other matter? What do you think would look better. I plan on painting. I was going to do drywall because a Menards near me had 14’ sheets but with a basketball hoop and kids...
I have a rotary laser I planned on shooting a line in for the first row. I don’t plan on needing to adjust anything but you never know. I built the barn my self and I know it’s pretty square and level. I also shot in the lines for the concrete but I didn’t do that. So everything should be pretty...
I’m getting ready to put osb up on my walls and was wondering what the fastest way to attach it is. I have my inside girts running horizontal and that’s how I’m going to run the osb. I plan on screwing the first row with 4 or 6 screws so I can take them out and adjust the sheet to get them all...
Are you pouring a floor? If so they'll attach to the floor. Usually for a metal building they pour the piers and floor at the same time or the floor shortly after the piers.
I didn't read all the comments to see what was suggested. But first make sure the scratch coat is a little rough. And if using premixed mortar buy a bag of regular type s and mix a little into each batch you mix. It will be stickier. Premix seems to have to much sand. Coat the stone with a...
Yea it will be from the meter. I just had a new one put in at the road it has a 200 amp breaker for the house but nothing else for the barn just empty slots for more breakers. They have 2/2/2/4 al at menards.
I did the wet set perma columns. loved how the barn turned out. Still working on finishing the inside. I had a guy thta was supposed to run my electric to the barn but hasn't showed yet. What size wire would I need from meter to barn 180' 100 amp box?
