Are you pouring a floor? If so they'll attach to the floor. Usually for a metal building they pour the piers and floor at the same time or the floor shortly after the piers.

Yea it will be from the meter. I just had a new one put in at the road it has a 200 amp breaker for the house but nothing else for the barn just empty slots for more breakers. They have 2/2/2/4 al at menards.

I did the wet set perma columns. loved how the barn turned out. Still working on finishing the inside. I had a guy thta was supposed to run my electric to the barn but hasn't showed yet. What size wire would I need from meter to barn 180' 100 amp box?

It's probably just tight since its new. I'd spray some silicone lube on it and use it. It will loosen up after a while.
