What did you do "IN" your garage today?

The last day and a half, my Son and I rebuilt the 5 speed transmission in his 1992 Mustang GT and installed it. This was our first attempt at a manual transmission and it wasn’t to bad. We had to back up a couple times due to getting the procedures out of order. It’s smooth and shifts great...

    Here’s my 32x48

My garage walls are 12’, the doors are 10x10’ with the tracks being not much higher, see attach, just a standard type door track. I have seen some like you mentioned that follow the ceiling line. I don’t anticipate any door clearances with the vehicles I own, or my kids.

The posts are actually centered at 15’ from the the outside edge of the garage door. This allows more room up front for tools and such but also allows plenty of room at the back. Even with the big long truck on it I have more than enough room. To answer your question, it working out great...

Thanks for the compliments. I haven’t really thought about keeping the roof line with the addition. I’m sure it would look better but I just don’t have the additional funds for the trusses and extra metal. The attached pictures show why I don’t have the funds, lol. Had the lift installed...

    Here’s my 32x48

I think my Son said he has put about 20k miles on it since we got it running. Having the cummins in it seems to be a good conversation starter at the pumps. And, it is a blast to drive. On a side note my new Challenger CL10V3 lift is supposed to be installed tomorrow, yeehaw.

    Shop size help

I have a 32’ deep by 48’ wide. We put a Cummins in a 1978 4 door 3/4 ton Ford F-250 4x4 with an extended frame and it was cramped. Several times we needed more space in the front and rear of the truck. My shed has 3 pull in twelve foot wide stalls and another 12 foot area for mostly lawn...

    Show your new tool arrivals

Went to HF to pick up some rubber gloves and cam out with these. The Challenger CL10V3 I ordered is suppose to be here in a couple of weeks. So, I had to have these, right? Lol

Here’s one of my Son’s project that took us about 3 years to do. Still needs a paint job and a few final touches. Has a 5.9 cummins with 5 spd, P/S, A/C and tilt wheel. I don’t know why one of the pictures is upside down?

Model A Fan, I was building my house when I decided to do the shed and I hired all the structure out. All I did prior to them building was brought in chert for the pad and the rough in for the plumbing. The total costs of $20k was the complete structure, the slab, 3 insulated garage doors with...

    Here’s my 32x48

Here’s some pictures of my hobby 32x48 shed. As you can see I need some organizing skills. It’s used mostly to work on my kids cars and of course for storage. I did rough in plumbing for a bathroom when it was built 7 years ago but ran out of funds to finish. My current goal is to build a...
