    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT Garage rebuild

I got the second gable end done! The 2x12 is for the deck and stairs.. don't know yet how I'm going to do that, but I'll figure it out. I'm actually working this weekend on the front, lots of trim and detail work around the garage door openings... but I should be done tonight. Then next...

Still been busy with the garage, I did squeeze in a few das of vacation, but generally I'm working every day on the garage. I'll post some inside pictures later, but I got everything rewired, got some ceiling fans installed and I'm using the garage. For emergency projects, since I am...

Not making progress as fast as i would like, I'm working on the garage door framing, and decided to farm out the shingles, so those should go up next week, this weekend i plan to finish the door framing, and enclose at least 1 side of the gables.

Trying not to half-*** it, kinda hard since that's my standard process when I'm trying to save money. I'm still trying to save money, but the garage will be like i imagine it, no matter what it costs, even if i run out of cash and have to pay with credit card, the garage is forever, debt is...

One big door was originally the plan, but it was simpler to do 2 doors. As far as framing, i will frame this out with 2x10 to get the right opening size. I will use glue and some tapcon screws, originally the frame was also glued and nailed, and it was a pain to remove, so i will do the same (...

They will be be getting a 2x10 on each side for the garage frame, but it's not a structural post, the header is a one piece, the post is just to attach a garage door to it

Finally ready for the trusses, can't wait for it to see how it's going to look. Only thing I can work on until the trusses are up is the garage door opening frame and pretty up the block work.

Then i started raising the walls by around 3 ft.. it is 3 ft because a 2*6 is 12ft and u get 4 pieces out of it Oh, as you can see, the front wall between the garage doors didn't survive, it was too wobbly.. This is where I am today: . I have to hurry, the rafters i ordered a few weeks...
