IMO the humble combination Spanners is the the baseline for most tradesmen. My favourite style is a long series with thin shank and defined ring end. So it can be flipped without fouling with shank. Someone bought some of those 440 Spanners at work, pretty to look at but not a go to because...

I agree with you about alkaline batteries. My Olights stay charged a long time and is so much more convenient than consumable batteries.

Williams or Koken are a good quality to price ratio imo. I got some Williams from Amazon recently at a great discount. Williams are probably a nice fit with your Snapon set.

Not a fan of soft handles. Those Williams screwdrivers are an excellent general purpose tool, they are a pleasure to use with their oversized handles. I’m also fond of Gedore’s older hard handle screwdrivers. I like my Felo tools as well but find the the handles not as nice as the Williams or...

The Olight R20 Javelot is my favourite work torch, good size, quality and price. Plus rechargeable with micro USB. 3 different brightness.

P&N or Sutton’s or Starrett or other good quality tool steel manufacturer. For thread repair a Die Nut plus a Bottom/Plug tap, would be my recommendation. Just buy the ones you use.

They are a great shifter, I think they are made by Irega. I use Sidchrome branded ones. First thing I do is cut the rubber handle off.
