I have also used those Kleins with the same experience. They messed up some wires I was working on one with very little to work with. Not good for me either.
This design must be patented by one company. Now that you shared this one I have seen it labeled under Irwin, Stanley and Klein. The Klein is a little different but it's the same design. Very interesting.
Good to know for sure.It feels well made and I see it has some adjustments for wear also that give me some confidence about long term ownership. The price is pretty amazing too.
I like the manual tools as well but I never seem to be able to master the results with them but they are likely more practical for someone doing it every day.
I have also noticed that they wear out over the years. As far as the wire guide. I never used to use it but then my OCD kicked in when I am stripping wire for outlets and I like getting the exact same amount of "strippage" This is a little more important if you start to use the Wagos so you...

If you ever missed greased fittings you won't be lonely with the Walker. It has about 30 of them, so there is always grease all over things when working on it, so I wear them a lot and with this conversion I try to keep it off me whenever possible.
Thaat makes sense, too much space between the treads. I am thinking they should really be ok. I never even had chains on my turf tires on a tractor before and I have a large hill so hopefully these crazy tread pattern will be enough.
