    I thought about the leatherwork. The press area is about 3/4 inch in diameter, round.

    I have not the slightest clue as to what it was used for. I fell in love with it when I saw it. It was on a shelf at an antique store. It may make it into my office.

    I posted a few days ago a little desktop press. I cleaned it up a bit so it did not look so rough. I was going to polish the brass, but it like the "patina" against the dark color. May cut some bronze color letters out and letter my own brand on the spine for looks.
