I went to Home Depot and got 2 small gray door mats. Nothing fancy, just something that would not slide around. Works like a champ. BTW, you will love the Bend Pak. Thats what I have.
Hi - for those of you who have epoxied your garage floor and get alot of sun exposure, hows it holding up? Has anyone epoxied just beyond the garage door across the threshold? I am wondering how this would hold up if its exposed to the sun and other elements over time.
Thanks!
I went with the Bend Pak HD9 and have been very pleased with it. The lift is certified by ALI -automotive lifts institute. I like the fact that it has a secondary locking system. This lift does however require an air compressor to release the secondary locks to lower the lift.
Not sure if this will work but is it possible to tape down a tarp on the completed side to protect it? I am going to face a similar issue and plan on trying this.
Nice Floor, that looks great! So what did you end up doing with the threshold? Looks like where the door comes down is where you cutoff the epoxy, is that right? Did you find the 2 kits covered what was expected? How do you know if you are spreading to thick or thin?
