My new Bend Pak 4 post lift will be here next week and I’m looking for ideas on ways to protect my newly epoxy’d floor from the rollers on the lift ramps. I had a similar lift in my previous shop and the steel rollers eventually wore through the epoxy. I’ve heard the newer Bend Pak’s come with nylon rollers instead of steel, but I’m thinking with repeated use they too will leave wear marks on the epoxy.
I’m sure there’s got to be a cheap, simple, solution out there that someone has figured out. I considered using some VCT tiles in that area, but they would need to be glued down. I may move the hoist on occasion, so I need something relatively portable. I was thinking about a heavy rubber (or similar material) mat like used for truck bed liner mats.
Anyone have any suggestions to share?
