I am coming out the side of garage and terminating with a T that has a screen on each side. So the minimum pipe length is 5 feet correct? I have seen a few people say 5 feet was the max length and that is not what the manual shows

Dave67fd, I attached pics from the installation manual and circled the sections that state horizontal piping must be a minimum of 5 feet and it says maximum horizontal pipe length is 25 feet with 1 elbow. Is this info not correct? Thanks for the help

What about where the manual States you must use an isolation transformer on thermostats with microprocessors or it could affect heater control board. I wanted to use the honeywell RTH8580WF thermostat so I can turn heater on remotely. Thanks for the help

Hey. The manual States a thermostat with a microprocessor has to use an isolated transformer or it will cause issues with heater control board. The thermostat still connects directly to the heater. The wifi part is from thermostat to my router. I wanted to use the honeywell RTH8550WF thermostat...

How do you install the isolation transformer? If you isolate the 24v from the R terminal on the heater and then connect the W terminal from thermostat to the W on heater the 24V from heater R terminal will not be the connection to the heater W terminal since its isolated. Thanks Beware of the...
