I have a 40x60 with a 14’ ceiling. I have 2 12x12 overhead door on the 40 side. I went through the same thought exercise and ended up near the overhead door. I’m so glad I did that. I store my tractor and implements in the area past the lift. Sent from my iPad using The Garage Journal mobile app

Definitely go with 14’. I’m currently building a 40x60 shop with 14’ ceiling. My builder is using 2x8 walls to have a full 14’ height. I will have two 12x12 garage doors with the tracks all the way to the top of the ceiling. Good luck with your decision.

Took the Autocross tires off the Miata :-(. End of the season. Changed the oil and put the all seasons back on the car. It’s always sad to get out of the racing mode. Now need to plan out what mods to make on the car before the next season.
