Hi folks.
Found GJ about a month ago. Been reading like a fiend to learn from others as much as possible.
My wife and I are planning on building our "next stage in life" home with a single floor living with a detached workshop/man-cave for me. I've been dreaming about have my workshop to work on cars (with a proper lift), doing some woodworking and some metal working.
With all three different hobbies in one space, trying to figure out the proper size of the workshop. I'm leaning towards 40' x 60' structure with two overhead door. Does the size seem reasonable?
Also, due to the cold winters in Colorado, I'm considering SIP construction instead of stick/pole/metal. For the experienced folks out there, what are the "gotcha's" I need to look out for as I'm planning the build.
Thanks all.
Have a safe and joyous holiday season.
