I can't speak to anything BMW, but it sounds like you need to find a new upholstery shop. Hopefully there are qualified alternatives. Six months seems inexcusable.
Odd that in the KC Metro Area, we may have 1/2 -1" so far. Really cold and windy. -1 /-17 wind chill. It's REALLY odd to think that we're on the northern edge of the storm that's headed east. It's still snowing, so it ain't over yet!
Wish there was a way to get to FB Marketplace without having to join the main surveillance platform. But then, not being there likely saves me thousands. The Doringer is waiting for you. ;)
In college I worked at a now defunct company down off 12th st in Omaha - Disbrow & Company. Big supplier of Anderson windows, pre-hung doors and custom millwork. I was allowed to take scraps and cut offs and would glue together and create slabs of walnut, maple, etc with their giant machinery...
I had not heard of KC Tool. I checked out their web site, and they are located 6.7 miles from my house. How did I miss this? And now that I know, how do I forget so that I don't bankrupt myself???
Thanks for the invite, but the cold is keeping me inside today...and likely the weekend as the weather is about to get worse. Of course.
Have a great holiday and safe travels!!
It's not for all occasions, but some adhesives respond to household ammonia...if you can deal with the strong odor. I would rank it a little below acetone for aggressive dissolving. 3M Adhesive Remover is good and is pretty paint-safe if you get sloppy. Comes in both liquid and spray can.
