Why is pegboard so disappointing? Am I doing it wrong?

Like some of the others, I use it for levels, yard sticks, etc. Stuff too long to fit in tool box drawers. Also put some bins on it for tape measures, markers/pencils. I went with the black metal and then attached it to a piece of black painted 3/4 plywood. Also built a holder for my hardware...

12’ or 14’ tall rollup doors for RV?

Not sure if your doors will be on the "end" or not, but I was able to get a 14' door with 14' side walls by changing the pitch. I had to go with a 3:12 instead of a 2:12, but was still able to get the 14x14 I wanted without having to actually go with 16' walls.

    Clever stock metal storage?

Just made a rolling rack out of scrap I had laying around. Built it small enough to roll under the workbench. Did expanded metal shelves and put it on casters so I can move it for cleaning, or pull it out from under the workbench when I need to dig for something. Will have to get an updated...

    Insulation spray foam or conventional

I've got the same...1" closed cell in Texas. Seems to be better keeping it cooler in the summer than it does keeping the cold out in the winter, but with our winter temps being in the 30's, half an hour of the torpedo heater and you are in a t-shirt. Once you get it warm, it maintains well. The...

    new cold storage garage

Don't know if it will help at all, but the door is the only thing I can answer on. I have a 35'X50' with 14' walls. I was able to do a 14' door, but had to do a slightly steeper pitch. The door is a 14x14 centered on the 35' wall, just had to do a 3/12 pitch instead of the "standard 1/12 or 2/12.

Garage doors - insulated with windows?

I did the same but my glass is clear and not frosted. Opens to a 20'x20' covered patio. Wasn't too concerned about the insulation aspect being in Texas. It is going to be hot in the summer regardless and our cold snaps aren't brutal. It actually insulates better than we expected honestly. Sure...

Garage Design - Show me your windows to the World...

Four windows in mine. Wanted the natural light plus wanted a couple on the front so I could see when someone pulled up with out having to walk outside. Didn't do any on the wall facing the neighbors or any on the back wall were the tvs and bar were going to go. Probably one of my favorite parts...
