I'll have to look for one of these. Its windy 8 days a week here so it would also need have the motorized louvers to keep it shut.

I was chatting with a buddy last week about garage stuff and he suggested putting in an exhaust fan. My shop back home had one and as nice as it was, I rarely used it.. The wind would always blow the louvers open, it was a highway for bugs, and it was a huge source of heat loss in the winter...

The last 3 building jobs I've been on we put 4" of rigid foam under the slab and there was voids all over and it poured fine. The bigger variations we would add or subtract material to help even it out. The rule of thumb we go by is its better to be low than high.

Are the doors in question, insulated? 3 grand isnt a bad estimate for installed insulated doors. I was quoted $5800 for a 16x10 with opener, and a 10x10 no opener installed. If I install the doors I'm only saving 455 bucks in labor. I believe Home Depot sells Clopay doors, otherwise I'd go to...

Is it the same side both times? When the door is all the way open is there slack in the cable? Back when I installed doors we would open the door all the way and if there was slack in the cable we would just loosen the drum and turn it until the slack was gone then tighten the drum back up.

By tilt do you mean the entire window, and how much tilt is enough?

I'd be building the wall to fit the glass or if I make a frame for them, to fit the frame. The actual window frames are made from steel and could be replicated for the most part for the exterior, the interior could just be the same that gets siliconed in place?

I would be putting them in a small living space. One in the living room and the other in the bedroom. My building site sits on top of a hill over looking a valley with mountains in the background.

No pictures of the glass but its just like this only a triple pane. Only reason for wanting them would be they're free. Yes they are bowed, but these are supposed to be high end windows. The original bill was for over 100 grand.. I'm still debating if I want them or not, the window is 5'x8' and...
