Cracked basement wall-Question for concrete experts

Wow, That *****. I suggest your friend hire a local structural engineer to take a look to document and evaluate this before any "quick fix" is attempted that would cover up the evidence. Have the friend take lots of pictures. A paper trail started now will possibly pay dividends in the...

    Bendpak caster kit...

I've not moved the lift around with a car loaded on the lift yet--I have a HD9-ST. However, our caster "tires" are different in appearance. The profile of mine is alot lower than yours and have a very rounded shoulder which limits contact area with the floor. Your looks to have a sharp...

    Bendpak HD-14 Install Help

The caps of my HD-9s fit just like the bendpak picture posted above. I clamped them in place before tightening the hardware to ensure alignment.

    cable TV in the shop

I've got probably at least 200 feet of RG-6 buried in conduit going out to my garage with no issues. I don't have HD out there but the picture quality is fine.

Shopping for lift - decided on Bendpak - Jeff?

I assembled 2 HD9STs about a year ago and it was very enjoyable. It sounds like you are at the perfect mechanical level to have at it. Bendpak's customer support was exceptional at quickly answering any questions. Alot of great tips are posted here already. I rented a moving truck and picked...

Bendpak HD9XW Installation in the "Truck shop"

Maxx, I used Dextron in my HD9s, not sure which is better. The ramps will follow the runways in either position they are adjusted.

    Lift Sitting in Attached garage

Agreed. Assemble, use and enjoy. Did you get a caster kit that will help you move it later when your new building is complete?

    Tire Rack

Great solution! Would have been funny to leave one or two casters on it.

I can't find a decent garden hose nozzle.

I use the rubber-surrounded Craftsman pictured above. High quality, doesn't leak and wont scratch whatever I might bash it into!

4 post lift - ramp alternatives

The Bendpak aluminum ramps are well worth the investment. Very easy to use and lightweight.

On Damand Water Heater or Tankless for handwash sink?

I've got that Ariston too and it's perfect for my garage sink. Well worth it.

    Craftsman Snowblower raised from ashes

Nice job!.. and color scheme. That thing looks evil from the front. As others have said--great save!

    Swedish dream left behind

Alot to be said for being free, but its too bad to give up a place that you built and love. It can only get better from here though. That car is really cool--love the sweeping firewall--lots of custom opportunities there.
