I had an old kit and it had 2 selecors one long and one short.

Can you get the rebuild kit with the old butterfly selector.

I wonder why some people get so aggressive? On other threads I have I was just asking about rebuild kits and where to them And I might as well have just went somewhere else to ask. I guess because I don't have a lot of truck brand tools they can talk me down.

I would like to see people's homemade tools.. Or are there a thread already on here?

Pittsburgh pro tools seem to be better made. to me anyway I've used Pittsburgh pro for a while and haven't broke them yet.

I've had a set for a couple of years and had no problems.

I returned a broken USA Craftsman ratchet to Sears the other day and they didn't rebuild it. They gave me a brand new craftsman long Handel 3/8 ratchet I didn't know it was made in China until I got home. Looks the same as the USA ratchet but has a metal gear selector instead of the plastic...

Which gear selector did you use the craftsman or the kobalt.

My ratchets look just like that one. I was going to put the craftsman repair kit in.

I have one of those flex head HF ratchets. I thought about welding up where it flexes.

I seen the price of the kit. Oh well scrap metal now. And I really don't have that many broken ratchets. I just wanted to find some craftsman ratchets kits so I would have spare for The USA Kobalt.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was wondering when the would come out with a standard version. I thought about welding the flex head solid on mine.

I have some old Flying V ratchets how old are they?
