    Lets see your workbench

Here's mine I just finished in my new shop. 22 ft. Total length. All framed with 2x6's with 3/4" plywood top (for now, I'll see how it holds up). The four foot leg where the vice is has 3/16" steel plate surface. Sorry about the dark pic.

    sanding drywall joints easiest way?

That was in my 32x48' vaulted ceiling shop. I also have an electric scissor lift that was invaluable for all this.

    sanding drywall joints easiest way?

After 3coats of mud I just wrapped 180 grit paper around a foot long 2x4 and sanded it. Swept up and vacuumed. Painted it white and it looks great. Not perfect, but for a shop, great.

Thanks everybody. Yeah I'm definitely going to put in a couple ceiling fans. Electrical will have to wait a little bit, I need to plan it out, decide on lights, and I've got alot of other stuff stealing my time. Right now I've got the temp lights and a couple outlets installed so at least I can...

Haven't decided on lighting yet, kinda looking at options. I like your idea Zeke. Here's a shot from sunset the other night.

Damp under my house need advice??

Is the plastic you put down sealed at the edges and seams taped good? If water is running down the slope towards your house could you put in a French drain to divert it? Ductwork should be insulated and tight.

    Cleaning aluminum...

We use a product called All Brite on the aluminum on our commercial fishing boats. Works great.

Taped and painted. All that's really left is electrical and building a bench.

It won't cost too much to heat it, I'll mainly keep it around 50* unless I'm working out there. The toyo is pretty efficient and its tight and well insulated. Don't really have a set budget yet. May use 150-200 gallons for the year at most I'm guessing.
