Standard galvanized water pipes have rough interior seams or burrs that can strip wire insulation, and they lack certification under the National Electrical Code (NEC).

We used to own a custom picture frame shop and garden center. We had a long term nursery plant supplier (20 years) abruptly cut us off along with all the other mom and pops. Some plants are booked (and grown) for you to peak at a certain time, ie Easter lilies, mums etc. Getting a new supplier...
Plumbing never goes to plan.
Case in point. Went to change shower head. Galvanized pipe. Joint broke. Inside thread wrench failed. Ended up cutting hole in closet wall. Removed pipes down to diverter/main valves.

After the death of my father I had to assume his responsibilities which included being the family maintenance man.
I’m over an hour round trip from a Home Depot or Lowes. Repairs usually nights or weekends. I’ve been establishing my own mini hardware store.
Nothing ***** the life out of a project like stopping and driving 35 miles on way to a decent hardware store that might or might not be open.

With woot it’s slower but usually not mission critical items so delay no issue. I’ll just add these to the 500 other pliers I have.
