Augus7us, how do you affix the molding? I see from the comments that there's no adhesive on the strips. I imagine you have to slather on some glue of a sort? I'm also wondering if the base is too uneven for something like this too.
Thanks. Great tip about the base trim. I'll check it out. With the mishmash of colors, do you mean the two different flooring types with the red door? :D If I were doing this again I'd probably go with all 'Charred Oak' flooring, but I like it.
Also, I think I may have too many greys happening...
Latest picture set! Still got some bins that need to be sorted further for keep, give, sell. I aim to reduce that down to nothing or close to it. I also need room for a 3D printer with professional venting.
I love it, and that 70s DeTomaso Pantera is amazing too (correct me if I'm wrong). I have Charred Oak in my garage. The only regret is not using it for the entire garage. May change it later. :)
Right on. There's no chance of oil leaks here because I drive an EV, but it's nice to know a little water (with ONR) won't hurt the tiles....and I'm guessing I shouldn't have an issue with mold if I keep water levels reasonable. I could also just wash the vehicle outside if it's not too hot but...
Man that would drive me up a wall. Can't wipe it and I'm guessing sweeping/mopping isn't easy either? A powerful Shop-Vac will work for debris in the meantime. Good luck resolving it. Sounds like you need a new topcoat based on the comments here.
Sounds like you're already at this stage but I'd rip that flooring out ASAP if you think there's an issue. There are too many good options (like RaceDeck or SwissTrax) which don't require someone's chemical expertise that you cannot error-check, not to mention cure time, outgassing, and odor...

The L-Square is hanging on the magnet strip next to my pegboard. I added a little clear cushion so I don't have metal on metal contact. It's the little things!
If you have ugly cables on your wall or they're in the wrong color, just wrap them with audio 'snakes' used to wrap and...
Thanks Nick! I absolutely adore rustic and old....like Don's 'Big Party Garage' which I've seen personally and find absolutely amazing. It's like going back in time. Thank you though, I'm an artist by profession and I cannot express how satisfying it is to finally be able to customize a garage...
Thanks! I'm thinking about painting the side door in Tesla red which was originally going to be used on a wall. I want to separate the white of the door with the white of the overhead rack.
Here's a mockup;
