Acrylic pool decking is your best bet. It's designed specifically for what you are asking for. Plenty of Mfr's out there. We use Xcel surfaces.

If you want tile, put down tile. Installed properly that tile will be a strong as the concrete underneath it. It's more expensive but is also a premium floor for a garage.

unless they are two separate attics that do not connect, why not just seal off the attic access in the bedroom and be done with it? Optionally, you can always buy one of those insulated attic covers for the opening
