HD.com special buy of the day has some good deals on M18 and M12 tools where you essentially get M18 5.0 or M12 4.0 battery for free. Some tools are even priced a bit lower in the special buy. Also, the newest version of the M18 Fuel grinder is on sale with and without a HO 6.0 battery. model...

I think if you copy the title of the product on the woot page and search with it you'll find it or an identical offering for less. Northern Tool may have it for $19.

Not that I needed a Fuel Ratchet because the M12 standard version didn't see much action, but for $115 at International Tool it was too hard to pass up. Also as mention previously the Fuel Super Sawzall and Fuel 7 1/4" Circular Saw come with HO 8.0 batteries for $169 each. Couldn't pass those up...

Taking a peek at the Milwaukee Hot Deals Thread has cost me almost $700 worth of tools I really don't need and may never use...right now I'm shaking my head at how much of a sucker I am for a great deal.

It's a good deal, but it is a very common deal that can be had from many Milwaukee retailers. It has been found at HD stores for a lot less in the past year. If you need the saw and want the battery and don't want to try your luck at finding it at a store for less in a month or two, then go for it.

I didn't take pics of the charging station, but I am tempted to exchange it because I to suspect I just got a bad one. No damage to the box it came in or the styrofoam inside that was protecting it. If I exchange it I'll open up the new one at the store to inspect it. This one was shipped to me...

Ordered the Kobalt charging station and power tool organizer. Just opened it up and sat it on the workbench. It looks like a Jr. High kid made this in shop class. Nothing looks square at all...what a joke. Back to Lowe's it goes. Which is probably best since I really had no place for it.

If you're not in a hurry I would wait because they've been offering some pretty good deals with that specific kit in years past. I'm sure someone here can recall exactly what the deal has been. I believe I bought mine with a fuel sawzall and the sawzall may have been free???
