That is about as good as I've seen it. I think I got mine slightly cheaper as I got it off ebay with a discount code last year.

^^^deals are going to be good all this month and next but you might hold out longer. imo some of the kits are only appealing because they tell you that its a deal but sometimes they include older models of the tool or include tools you dont really need.

M12 Fuel Hackzall kit 2520-21XC (tool, 4.0 battery, charger, bag) with a free 6.0 battery for $159. No tax for AZ. Seems like a good deal, ordered. Should complement my 2722 M18 sawzall well.

https://www.acmetools.com/shop/tool...dless-m12-fuel-hackzall-reciprocating-saw-kit

I found this on other sites for $179. Amazon sells the 2520-21XC kit for $123 plus tax ($135 for me), but a 6.0 battery is certainly worth the extra $25.

ugh man this thread is killing my wallet

the acme deal is definitely better because they are an authorized retailer unlike amazon

Not by much for that reason. Amazon may not by an authorized retailer, but the product they are selling has not been sitting on a warehouse hardly at all (because they can't get a ton of stock of it), so you hardly miss out on much warranty as it goes by manufacturing date.
Amazon will also take anything back if you aren't happy, easier than Acme.

The reason to go with Acme is the free battery.

Has anyone seen any of the HD deals that are online in the stores? Or are they just strictly their online ones?

Taking a peek at the Milwaukee Hot Deals Thread has cost me almost $700 worth of tools I really don't need and may never use...right now I'm shaking my head at how much of a sucker I am for a great deal.

The Super Sawzall $169.88 + 8.0 battery deal is still going at International Tool. Also CPO has 11% off all Milwaukee purchases of $100 or more with the code 'VETSDAY'. Can't seem to get it to apply to things I want to order though...

Not that I needed a Fuel Ratchet because the M12 standard version didn't see much action, but for $115 at International Tool it was too hard to pass up. Also as mention previously the Fuel Super Sawzall and Fuel 7 1/4" Circular Saw come with HO 8.0 batteries for $169 each. Couldn't pass those up either. Didn't need a compact radius light for $89 but that's another I added to my collection. If you need a M18 right angle 1/4' impact driver you can get the kit with 2 batteries for $149 which was not even advertised. Didn't need that either but it's supposedly on it's way to me. At least I'm trying to sell the old tools that never needed to be replaced but are.

The 1/4" impact kit for $149 is pretty solid, especially if you can pawn off each of those 4.0's for at least $40-50 each. Half tempted, just don't want to deal with selling the batteries. Would've been a pretty useful tool these past few weeks.

Looking at offer up and Craigslist in so cal it seems like they are flooded with batteries and bare tools.

I'm guessing lots of ppl are doing these deals to sell individually.

They are 3s that will be included. No# on the side of a XC battery means 3ah. The details are wrong. So maybe $30-40 a battery

What is usually the best deal on a pair of 3.0 Batts?

EDIT: referring to M18 batteries

The regular High output ones.

regular & high output are contradictory to each other. Regular battery would be the 3.0 XC. The HO would be classed above the XC, so not regular.

The 2-pack of M18 3ah HO regularly drop to $99, down from $149. Haven't seen them lower than that from any retailer yet

This. If Amazon can ever start offering the freebie promos, that'd be amazing but otherwise authorized retailer really doesn't matter -- you're still gonna have likely 90% of your 5 year warranty from DOM in the SN

I buy kit take-outs on eBay all the time because of this. Basically when you send in for warranty possession is 9/10 of the law because you really don't need proof of purchase, except as gap insurance from DOM to DOP

The HO M18's are what I'm looking for, so $99 is the deal, thanx!

there's a chance there will be a tool + 3.0 HO battery promo at depot in the next couple months where you can return the tool, that might get the price below $50 each

Highly unlikely. Promos for Q4 are all live. Not that they can't have a shipment ready, but no store carries single 3ah HO. It seems Milwaukee is preferring to sell them as a 2 pack.
And if your goal is $50, the 2 pack is $99 pretty regularly since release. Yes it's 2, but it will be February before any new major promotion starts

Holy **** good deal, it worked for me. Add the batteries to the cart, then go back for the wrench. They charge tax, but $228 for all that is awesome. At the time of writing this it shows 3 of the battery packs left in stock. I was looking at paying $180 for just the impact recently. I looked at a few other sites and I don’t see this promo anywhere else. Blain’s is where I got my M18 Bluetooth speaker kit last year on Cyber Monday for $80.

That makes 4 new red tools with 6 new mostly XC batteries and $727 spent in about the past week for me. All these “deals” are too good to pass up.
$170 Circular saw and 8.0
$170 Sawzall and 8.0
$159 M12 Fuel Hackzall kit with 4.0 and free 6.0
$228 2767 impact with two 6.0

I could use some deals on the underhood light and some M12 3.0 packs (and ok, the M12 die grinder and extended ratchet look cool) but I’m running out of red tools I really want/need.

Not sure if it’s a fair comparison but what would be better, the HO 3.0 or an XC 5.0?

Nothing great. International Tools has $20 off $100+, so $149 shipped.

https://www.internationaltool.com/s...ht-Angle-Die-Grinder/p/MIP-248520!plus9200966

Tyler Tool and CPOMilwaukee both have 11% off Milwaukee over $100, so $151.

https://www.tylertool.com/milwaukee...inder--tool-only-/miln2485-20,default,pd.html

Intl has improved...they're now taxing me 8% on $169, but I should be at 4.9%. And Colo taxes on price paid, not price BEFORE discounts, so should be $149
