This old vise deal is cool. I never once thought of a vise as a masterpiece until a few days ago. Holy Smokes..... there’s some nice vises out there. That Wilton 8400 is something else. I hope a can find one in a yard sale for $3 like this one guy I read about. Hell, I might even offer 5 bucks...

Ok the flange is spinning freely now but there’s something holding it to the shaft. I have blasters soaking in now. It feels like a socket on a wrench. Is there a button that’ll retract a ball or something to release the flange??? I’m not going to mess with Her anymore until I get some answers...

Ok 40 mins with the sandpaper. 1st with 220 then 150. Should I keep going down to 80??? Ok do you think I can use a puller?? I’m not sure if that hub will break though
