    New Tool Box For Christmas

My sister got me the big Husky, 56" I think, for helping her rehab her mother in laws house to put it on the market. I love it! I was just looking at bottom boxes leaning toward the Extreme Tools 55" and I have the combo box just about full with all my stuff.

    Is oxy-acetylene welding still used?

I used to work for a company who made compressors for fridges/freezers and the copper lines were braze welded to the steel housing. I ran the machines that did the brazing. When they were installed they brazed the lines to tubes on the shell.

Why don't Snap on make combination pliers?

I didn't even know what a combo piler was. Googled that and the Knipex version is $20 at Home Depot......maybe Snap-On doesn't think there is much of a profit to be made when Knipex can be had for a Jackson.

How to move a LARGE toolbox

There's a show called Shipping Wars. I wouldn't hire any of the movers on there to move an anvil...because they'd find a way to break it....or ***** about it.....or both!

    Generator outlet question

Oldwizard that is what I was looking for. As for how useful it would be, we don't really have enough ice and snow for it to be a real problem. We did have a good one where the power was out for about 4 days. We have a big genny and a little one. The little one we ran a drop cord through the door...

    Generator outlet question

I have a co-axial cable coming through the wall in the living room that I plan to move. I was thinking about trying to find or making an outlet that I can plug a drop cord into from a generator to power the outlet in case of a bad snow or ice storm knocks out the power. Has anyone seen...

    Lincoln 180 question

Because then I wouldn't have a good excuse to get a good welder and learn and use it for more than just fixing my boat hitch :D

    Breaker box

The only exposure I have is house breaker boxes and they are usually a 200 amp service. Nothing ran yet and I detailed what I want in the OP. A 230 for a welder, 2 regular double outlets for 4 shop lights, an outlet for an Air compressor and maybe 3 or 4 double outlets for 110.

    Breaker box

I'm not sure what the proper name is for the breaker box so I apologize if I used the wrong term. Is there a formal or a website that tells you how many amps you need for how ever many circuits you're wanting to have? We have a pole shed that I am wanting to put power in. I'm going to have a...

    Found My New Favorite Knife

I knew when I clicked this thread it would be a Benchmade! I have carried everyday since 1999 a 710. I'm surprised I haven't lost it yet.

    Lincoln 180 question

I've googled and searched and I can't find a direct answer to this. Is a Lincoln 180 mig welder enough welder to use to replace the hitch on a boat trailer? The specs say 1/2 mild steel with flux core and I can't see that tubing being anything but mild steel. The hitch is nothing more than...

    Drawer label color

I don't think this one has a place for those. It's the black handle/black box one.
