Stick welding is done every single day in my industry (robotics machine building). It is done so often it can be annoying as you have to often clear the area so the work can be done safely, obtain hot work permits to do the work, and block off the area from light spill, causing inconveniences...

Would anyone here recommend ratchet adapters? If you already have a breaker bar, and want to save a bit of cash, and have a small toolbox with no room for an extra ratchet, maybe a ratchet adapter is the ticket?

Since you don't have any German-made ratchets, a Hazet 916 HP or Hazet 916 HP L (if you can find it) would be great first additions to the stable.
