    Start a tool company

So it seems the general consensus is not to waste my time with hand tools and, if I decide to go through with a tool business, focus on specialized tools. This is the type of info I was looking for instead info on financials and if I’m “qualified” on the topic. Thanks everyone!

    Start a tool company

That makes sense and is probably the way it would initially start, if it starts at all, and grow from there. The ultimate goal would be to cover everything.

    Start a tool company

I completely understand that. I wouldn’t expect anyone to buy something unseen. I was just curious if there was any potential interest in the idea. Thanks!

    Start a tool company

Considering that I didn’t ask any of those questions, obviously means I haven’t gotten that far. I was simply asking if there was any interest in it. If there seems to be interest in it, then I’ll cross those bridges as it goes forward. If no one seems interested in it, then it probably means...

    Start a tool company

So I’ve had this idea for a while now but I’m not sure if there would be enough demand to support it. I’ve often thought about starting a tool company. Basically, with craftsman going to China, the quality of tool has went down significantly in my opinion. What’s y’alls thought on a new American...

Basic Car Tool Set for non-mechanical son

What we did for my sisters when they went to college was a milk crate full of the basic car needs. Jug of pre mixed antifreeze, couple of quarts of oil, a funnel, few shop rags, a 4 way, and a roll of those blue paper towels. There may have been a couple of screwdrivers included and maybe a pair...

    30x40 or 40x30 HELP!!!

The only info I can give is what I personally would do. I have a 24x30 right now. It's 24 deep, and I really wish it was a 30x30. The extra 6' would be extremely handy for the longer vehicles. With that said, if it was me, I would do 40' wide x 30' deep with 3 10x10 doors. I would have one bay...

    Air Line Coupler Size

After catching up on everything, is sounds like either Milton V or Legacy will be the route to go. 1/4" couplers and probably 2 3/8" hoses sounds like it's going to cover me. Who knows what the future holds for me and what I'll get into next though. Lol. Thanks for ALL the info and advice. It...

    Air Line Coupler Size

Rocket, I've ran 3/4" black pipe throughout the garage including the drops. At the drop, I'll do the adapting to whatever size, which is starting to sound like 3/8 or 1/4. The compressor is an eaton 80 gal 7.5 hp. It makes 29 cfm at 100. I have 6 drops in a 24x30 garage. Little over kill I know...

    Air Line Coupler Size

So if I run 1/2" hose with 3/8" milton v fittings, I should be good for most all air tools I'll need to use in the future, minus the blasters, correct? Or would the 1/2" hose cover the blasters as well? My garage is only 24x30, so a 50' hose would cover anything in the garage I would need...

    Air Line Coupler Size

Quick question. I'm in the process of installing compressor plumbing in the garage. This is being set up for a small, part time powder coat business. I've gone a little over kill for hopes of expanding in the future. The pipe is 3/4" and is being adapted down to 1/2" at the drops. My question...

New here. Just wanted to say hi.

I can only seem to find this one of it right now. I haven't taken many pics of it yet but there will be PLENTY when I can actually get started on it. I also have both bed sides and the front of the bed, but they aren't shown here.

    Garage Wiring Question

Here's a couple of pics in its current state. It's a wreck from the wiring and insulation. I'll be glad when I get the insulation wrapped up so I can get it somewhat organized again. I'm gonna wait a month or two before I finish the drywall. Luckily my neighbor has a drywall jack that he is...

Where were 19/32", 25/32", and 31/32" wrenches and sockets used?

I was thinking some of the old distributors had 11/32, but I wasn't 100% on it so I didn't say anything. Thanks for confirming that.
