    Advantage lifts

I have been considering one for over a year but couldn't find anyone with feedback. I appreciate the info on how they handled the drip pans, can you imagine if you needed a part or had a bigger problem. I have a BB that I use for service work and was looking for another 4 post just to stack...

The Sloan power assist recall is garbage

I have replaced about 6 of those at different locations, all had air bubbles leaking from the vessel. It was cheaper to buy a new tank with the sloan equipment already installed. Once switched out , all of those still had the same flushing power of the originals. Something to consider, maybe...

I think I was ripped off on AC repair with $185 capacitor

I am reading it a little different. $120 diagnosis fee to show up Plus the labor to install the parts which is usually at least $100 per hour + the cost of the part which is marked up of course. So it was $185 for the part and labor. Still a rip off but many places now charge a flat service...

Wanted to service it this weekend and I got home to late to call BYB on Friday. I know a bunch of guys here own them so thought I would ask instead of waiting until Monday to call and service it next weekend. All those instructions are for the newer, updated lifts. I checked the website and my...

greasing older backyard buddy 4 post

I have a older BYB 4 post that has NO grease fittings. I have lubed the 4 corner pulleys a couple of times by taking them apart easy enough. My question is how do you get the pins out of the under ramp pulleys in order to grease them ? Yes I removed the set screws I tried a few things...

    Groundhog problem

x's 3 - followed this same procedure for years - Last year I bought some of the smoke bombs at Home depot - Now I just light a smoke bomb and just throw a tarp over the trap instead of using the water dip

    Insulating/Soundproofing on the cheap

30 years as a metal drummer here - the best thing to do is to have a dead space in between the walls - think room within a room Some cheap ideas - hang moving blankets (the thick quilted ones) - carpet with multiple layers of padding on the walls and even egg cartons on the walls (lots of them)
