Located in Northern Minnesota. The garage is 24x42 and I don't plan on insulating it as i have a 24x24 that is fully heated and sheetrocked.

I'm starting to think about residing my detached garage.
Currently it has T1-11 siding and is unheated and not insulated. I've been told a vapor barrier is not needed being that garage is not heated.

From my measurments the walls currently have 3/8" drywall. I would like to put 1/2" sheets just for extra durability but would they stick out like a sore thumb...
