Anyone ever have to gut a building thats overrun with mice?

I wonder if that would work here in Hawaii. We don't have any snakes here. Would the birds even know to be afraid of it? interesting question.

    Getting power under sidewalk?

I remember a thread on here about a lift install where someone notched a PVC pipe (to make something that could grab and cut) and then put it in a drill to cut a hole in the dirt. It was pretty neat. He had pictures to show exactly how he did it but I don't remember which thread. Maybe someone...

    My Sears rant

That's why I said "more than". I'm thinking 20 parts and say you make 7 per part. You just increased your profit 40%. I'm sure they've had some smart people study it and they're maximizing profits but it's just hard to believe that those price are at the profit-maximizing points.

    My Sears rant

I'm glad you pointed this out. This concept of economics is often forgotten. What I don't get about Snap on is this: I can't fathom that they couldn't sell well more than twice the amount of product at half the prices. I've got one Snap On tool in my box and I would certainly like to have...

    Overwhelmed and under motivated

I look at other guy's garage pictures and just cringe when I see bare wall! I'm freaking obsessed with slat wall. The good thing is, with the great recession, it can be bought second hand rather cheap. As someone mentioned earlier, I built an 8x8 shed outside for longer term stuff and yard...

    Wireless TV transmitters/repeaters?

I also use the Leap Frog. I have one in the bedroom and one in my wife's salon. One transmitter in the living room for two receivers. We also have reglar cable in the bedroom so we can watch two different shows (one in each room). It works really good. The only interference comes from nearby...

Pegboard and a newly insulated wall

I would just cover the whole thing with slatwall. search craigslist in your area. A lot of businesses sell it when they go out of business. It's way better than peg board. You can use it for shelves or pegs. You can change it up later if your needs change. Here's some pics from various...

    Are my plans proportionate?

I would also make the bathroom door open the opposite direction. You'll be going in there to use the sink more often than the toilet and it'll get annoying closing the door everytime. You're more likely to close the door when using the toilet anyway so I would configure it that way. Cool...
